Searching and Viewing Charts with ADOBE READER 6.0
Introduction to ADOBE READER 6.0
We use Adobe's proprietary PDF file system to publish our Point and Figure Charts online. PDF files are the publishing industry's standard for online documents as well as hard copy documents (printed booklets and magazines for example). Reader 6.0 is the latest version. It's free and comes with many new computers running Microsoft Windows XP. We have provided some quick, step by step instructions, followed by illustrations.
QUICK START: How to Search for a Chart
STEP 1 Click on "01 - 130" and Page 1 is displayed
Click on "Search"
STEP 2
Type in symbol or name of stock & make sure "Whole Words Only" box is checked
STEP 3
Hit "Enter" on keyboard and wait a few seconds while search is performed
STEP 4
Search result highlighted on left side of screen

QUICK START: How to View the Chart
Click on Zoom Tool

Drag out bounding box around chart (see illustrations below)

This is the easiest way to zoom in on a chart. Once you get the hang of it, it should become second nature. You use the Zoom Tool, which looks like a magnifing glass, to drag out a "bounding box."
While holding left mouse button down, move the Zoom Tool to BOTTOM RIGHT of chart.
Cick on Zoom Tool and place at TOP LEFT of chart.
